Tekashi 6ix9ine has spent a lot of time in the news over the last few weeks due to him deciding to testify against his former colleagues in his federal trial. He was facing a minimum of 47 years in prison for racketeering and drug charges but due to his cooperation, he should see his prison sentence dramatically reduced.
Despite this and multiple rappers coming out saying he is done, a record label is investing some big bucks in him not only surviving but also coming out with more music.
TMZ is reporting that his former record label, 10k projects, is cutting a record deal with him worth more than $10 million. In return, he will provide record one album in English and one album in Spanish. It’s going to be very interesting to see how these albums will do in terms of record sales, performances and how the culture views him. If he even survives.
