So does the site work? Well, according to some female users who spoke to reporter Jorge Estevez of CBS Miami, hell yes. One 22-year-old user said she has already received cars, jewelry, and trips, and is now seeking a new sugar daddy who can provide $10,000-$20,000 a month.

This why the site now has over 1,000,000 users, including a lot of young women trying to, uh, "work" their way through college.

One 20-year-old user who attends Florida International University says she's been on her own since she was 18, and the men she's met on the site have covered her entire education. “Books. Everything,” she told Estevez. “When I say everything… I mean everything.”

And unlike other “dating” websites, on seekingarrangement.com, the women actually outnumber the men 20 to 1.

What the hell is going on in the third grade these days?

A teacher in Tallulah, Louisiana, has been fired this week because she failed to notice that two of her students were engaged in oral sex underneath a desk right there in the classroom.

But this wasn't a high school, or even a middle school. The alleged incident occurred at Tallulah Elementary School, and the kids in question were third graders.

So you can excuse the teacher for worrying more about preventing hair-pulling and spitball-making than oral sex.

Should she have noticed something like that going on in her classroom? Well, yeah, obviously.

But again, suppose you were the teacher, and it's been a hard week. You might zone out for a bit while the kids work on an assignment quietly, figuring as long as you don't hear any whispering or yelling, everything is more or less okay. Because, after all, these are 9-year-olds. What could they possibly be getting up to? Snorting coke and having sex?

Well, yes, apparently.

Of course, we don't know how all of this went down. Maybe the teacher was a lot more negligent than that, and actually left the class completely unattended for 10 or 15 minutes. All we do know is that the school's principal fired her immediately, and the district superintendent agreed with the action.

As for the students involved in the age-inappropriate encounter, the district says they are currently undergoing counseling.

Um, yeah, ya think?

Did you know that today, Friday, March 30, is National Cleavage Day?

Well, you do now. And I'm sure that, even if you've never heard of National Cleavage Day before, it is already your favorite holiday.

Of course, as I'm sure you suspected, this "holiday" isn't so much a holiday as it is a marketing gimmick. It was created by bra giant (not to be confused with the phrase "giant bra") Wonderbra. They claim that the point is to highlight women's independence and power in all facets of their lives, from relationships to careers.

But I think we can all see that the real point of National Cleavage Day is to draw attention to cleavage, make women want it, and therefore encourage them to buy Wonderbra products.

And this year, UK undergarment retailer Ann Summers is getting in on the act, too. They decided to celebrate their 30th anniversary on National Cleavage Day by staging a traffic stopping spectacle.

Thirty "real" women were chosen to walk out into the street and strip down to their underwear, thus "celebrating" their "real" bodies.

In addition to all this nonsense about "empowering" women (I can assure you that, while National Cleavage Day is fantastic, it aint empowering anyone), some clandestine syndicate of international media publications had gotten together to choose the women with the world's greatest cleavage.

Topping the list is UK TV host. She's followed by Scarlet Johansson at #2 and Beyonce at #3.

The issue is modesty. Or, more specifically, the girls' lack thereof.

Authorities at the Beis Rivkah High School in Brooklyn, NY, say they are trying to restore an adherence to Tzniut—which is more or less the code of Jewish laws concerned with modesty of appearance and behavior. And they say Facebook is to blame for the decline.

How so?

According to one anonymous student, “People on the board said it’s not proper for us to have Facebook because girls might be talking to boys on Facebook or they might be putting up immodest pictures.”

The school’s principal, Shaindel Teichtel, concurs with this summary, explaining that the Facebook ban is “in keeping with the highest quality standards of educating our students, within the context of a pure and sacred Torah environment.”

So there you go. No Facebook for these Orthodox Jewish Girls.

No word yet on whether the school has also heard of Twitter, Tumblr, Google, the street, the corner store, the bus, the library, or every other place on earth where girls can meet boys and be immodest.

But no, seriously, I'm sure banning Facebook will solve all their problems.

This is the house in Ferris, TX, where it all went down.

We hear stories about wild parties that get out of control and turn into drunken brawls all the time. Often, it’s because someone ends up dead for no good reason.

But usually these are late night drug and booze-fueled affairs attended by adults or wild teenagers—not kid’s birthday parties.

Unfortunately, there’s a first time for everything. Especially in Texas.

Last weekend in Ferris, Texas, which is just outside Dallas, four people were shot, two were stabbed, and two severely beaten after a fight broke out at a girl’s Quinceañera party (celebrating her 15th birthday).

Among the shooting victims is an 11-year-old boy, who took a bullet to the stomach. Thankfully, he’s not the one who died. That was an unnamed adult male.

According to one 14-year-old who left the party right before the bloodshed, nothing seemed amiss. “It was okay. A lot of people were drinking and stuff, other than that, nothing bad.”

But obviously, things got pretty bad pretty quick. Police are still trying to piece everything together, but it looks like the fight broke out after the party ran out of beer.

That’s right. No more beer = cage match to the death.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I hate poor party planning at much as the next guy. Hosts should have enough refreshments to last the whole party. I just don’t think running out of beer is a good excuse to stab somebody. Then again, my family usually just has Bud Light.

Investigators dig up old Benny Scott.

Need a good reason to buy life insurance? How about so your wife doesn’t just bury you out back underneath the herb garden when you kick the bucket—is that a good enough reason?

Old Benny Scott, 77, of Lake Alfred, Florida, apparently died back in January. I say “apparently” because the majority of his friends and family only learned about it this week.

Why the delay? Because his wife Barbara, 66, just buried him in a 3-foot grave in the backyard.

For two months, whenever someone would call or stop by looking for Benny, she had a perfectly good excuse. Sometimes she said he was in Oklahoma visiting a sick friend. Other times she would say he was ill with a throat ailment and couldn’t talk on the phone.

After a while, though, Barbara’s kids began to think something was up. And after one particular conversation with her brother in which she noticed several inconsistencies in what her mother had been telling people, Sonya Braudway finally confronted her mom about her mysteriously missing dad. That’s when she spilled the beans.

At that point, Braudway convinced her mom to call the police and inform them that she had buried her dead husband in the backyard. Sure enough, that’s where investigators found him.

As of yet, authorities still don’t know the cause of death. But, given the circumstances, they are probably a little suspicious.

Plus, Barbara Scott has a record. She was convicted of embezzlement in 1988 and served three and a half years in the slammer.

So yeah, police will be taking a nice long look at this one.

First, the good news: a study recently published by researchers at the University of Michigan concludes that the pill is responsible for a significant increase in women’s wages over the last 40 years. Which is cool.

Now the bad: another study published by researchers at the University of Stirling (UK) concludes that the pill also causes women to stay in crappy relationships with boring sex by messing with their brain chemistry.

So I guess there’s a tradeoff.

The University of Michigan researchers conducted a study of 4,300 women born between 1943 and 1954. What they found was a direct correlation between a woman’s ability to legally obtain the pill before the age of 21 and her wages relative to men in her field.

The women who had access to the pill did not have to choose settling down and having a family at the expense of furthering their education. The result of their additional education was higher wages later on in life. In fact, the researchers attribute 33% of the wage gains made by women from the 1960s through the 1990s to the availability of the birth control pill.

Unfortunately, the University of Stirling researchers found that the birth control pill has negative effects on a woman’s love life.

This is you on the pill: happy, but spending more time playing golf than getting busy.

While women on the pill tend to stay in relationships longer than women not on the pill—on average, two yearslonger—women on the pill also report that these relationships are less satisfying sexually.

It’s not 100% clear why the pill results in longer but less sexually exciting relationships, but the researchers suspect it leads women to choose men they find less attractive, sexually.

Previous research has found that women prefer one type of man when they’re on the pill and another type of man when they’re off the pill. So apparently, the pill affects the hormones that dictate what women find attractive. Thus, they tend to prefer the “good catch” and boring sex to good sex and the “bad boy” who isn’t really boyfriend material.

Jamphel Yeshi, 27, is just the latest Tibetan to set himself on fire to protest Chinese control over his homeland.

Think you’ve got convictions because you signed that Kony 2012 petition as soon as you saw the video everyone posted on Facebook?

Well, in India on Monday, a dude lit himself on fire to protest the Chinese government’s rule of Tibet.

Now that’s commitment.

Jamphel Yeshi, 27, escaped from Tibet in 2006 and had been living in New Delhi ever since. When he and other Tibetan ex-pats heard that Chinese President Hu Jintao would be visiting New Delhi this week, they organized an anti-China demonstration.

But Yeshi apparently decided he would be taking his protest to the next level.

At the protest on Monday, just hours before Jintao’s arrival in New Delhi, Yeshi lit himself on fire and ran for an incredible 50 meters before collapsing.

At that point his fellow protesters put out the flames, but it was too late. He’d suffered burns to 98% of his body and would later die at the hospital.

Afterwards, Tenzin Dorjee, one of the protesters who witnessed the incident, told reporters, "This is what China faces unless they give freedom to Tibet."

But do you want to know the really insane thing? Tenzin was not kidding. This isn’t the first incidence of self-immolation by a Tibetan protester this year. It’s not the second, it’s not the tenth, and it’s not the 20th. Rather, at least 30 people have set themselves on fire this year alone to protest Chinese rule over Tibet.

So, yeah, apparently they feel pretty strongly about this situation.

I’m guessing the majority of you just answered (hypothetically, of course) “computer.” Moreover, I’m guessing another sizable percentage of you answered, “you can get porn from your television provider?” And, finally, I’m sure at least a small percentage answered, “doesn’t everyone just watch TV on their computer anyway?”

Yes, if you’re under, say, 30, you’ve probably always gotten your (hypothetical) porn fix from the internet. But believe it or not, for a long time, people got most of their adult programming from their television providers.

Why? Because it was high quality, and it was easier and less embarrassing than renting videos.

But now this is finally changing.

Since 2008, the average length of each visit to porn websites rose by a staggering 26% (to 8 minutes, 35 seconds). And this is very bad news for TV providers.

In 2011, DirecTV admitted that their lower pay-per-view revenue from the second quarter was directly caused by a drop in the amount of “adult buys.”

Similarly, Time Warner Cable admitted that a big drop in adult pay-per-views cost them over $5 million in profits.

So in other words, internet porn is seriously affecting the profits of cable and satellite companies.

But why now? Internet porn has been around for years. Why are television providers only seeing effects to their porn revenue in 2012?

Well, in short, the answer is better technology.

As technology improves, high quality porn is easier to produce and easier to disseminate. These days, just about every digital camera can take HD video, and now everyone has a computer that can easily stream that HD video over the net. So it doesn’t take a big production company to produce high quality smut. It only takes about $800 bucks worth of equipment and some willing participants.

Basically, technology has cut out the porn middlemen, and now even grandpa can watch porn for free at the Apple Store.
