Paris Hilton and boyfriend arrested for Cocaine and Banned from Las Vegas Hot Spots
Paris Hilton and her boyfriend were busted on the Las Vegas strip on August 28th for possession of cocaine. Her boyfriend was a well popular nightclub mogul, Cy Waits, who ran the nightclubs in the Wynn Hotel.
Paris was pulled over on Las Vegas blvd after large smoke clouds was spotted coming out of Cy Waits' Cadillac Escalade. When authorities pulled Paris over they smelled what they believed to be marijuana smoke.
They brought Paris and her boyfriend into Wynn Hotel security room after a large crowd was starting to gather where Paris was pulled over. They searched the couple and found a small container of cocaine in Paris’s purse – Paris denied it.
The Police gave a statement on the situation:
"Vehicle inventory turned up a 'roach,' white piece of rolled paper w/green leafy sub[stance] inside. It was wet [and] unable to be tested," says the arrest report.
"I could smell marijuana coming out of the vehicle. Pulled up to passenger side, [and] driver stated he just got done smoking.
Paris Hilton Lawyer, David Chesnoff, released a statement:
“Paris Hilton was released this morning on her own recognizance. This matter will be dealt with in the courts not in the media and I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law. There will be no interviews and no more comments at this time.”
From the incident, we have learned that Paris Hiltons' boyfriend has been “separated” from his new managerial position at Trust Nightclub at Wynn and the XS Nightclub at Encore - 2 of the hottest spots in Vegas.
Paris is also banned from stepping foot on those premises; what good will it be to go to Vegas if you cannot go to the hottest spots in the area??
