WHEN WE WERE KINGS is the the theme on this superlative clothing line by the Moorland twins. I first realized the great power of this line while watching Sabir Bey interview Tommy Davidson after another great performance.
Tommy was explaining the Moorish symbols and artwork printed on the the shirt Sabir was wearing. He was also explaining the significant importance of Moor to all "black people". Clothes like this are easy to reproduce yet not always easy to understand their true importance to society today, as I know from experience.
