Massive Chocolate Pyramid Sculpture Breaks Guinness World Record *PICS*
If there is one think you need to know about me it’s that I LOVE chocolate. I am the ultimate Chocolate lover, so when I saw that Qzina Specialty Foods created a Massive chocolate sculpture that broke the Guinness World Records; I had to write about it!
Modeled after an Ancient Mayan temple, Temple of Kukulkan at Chichen Itza, the sculpture weighs in at 18,239 pounds which is more than two times the previous record of 7,500. The sculpture took around 400 long hard hours to construct with the supervision of the company’s corporate pastry chef, Francois Mellet.
The sculpture stood 6 feet tall and was on a base of 10 feet by 10 feet. This sculpture showed great attention to details as the creators
The sculpture was created to celebrate Qzina’s 3th anniversary and its celebration of Qzina Institute of Chocolate and Pastry where the pyramid will be on display from June 4 through Dec. 21, when the Mayan calendar comes to an end. It will be destroyed then eaten! Can I get some?
