One in Three Men are scared of their partner’s driving

British Researchers concluded that one in three men claims that they do not feel safe in the car when their partners are driving. It’s a new revelation people! I’m going to take it a little further and assume that I find that number off. It sounds more like it should be two in three men.

Why? Because, as a FEMALE I have yet to meet a man who’s so confident in their other half’s driving ability that he could easily fall asleep in the car just out of comfort and trust. No, no, no no resentment here or bitterness, as lucky my guy is I do not drive… yet.

The study was commissioned by OnePoll.com among 3,000 men. A spokesman for the online market research said:

"Most feel they are better drivers than the women in their lives.

"They believe they concentrate a lot better, read road situations more quickly and clearly and have better reactions.

"One in five even went as far as to say they were never able to relax when their other half is driving."

Come to find out many men find themselves pushing their feet down into the footwell because their wife/partner brakes too late. Others admitted to regularly gripping the edges of their passengers’ seat and are in constant fear of crashing. One in ten claimed that they’ve been forced to grab the steering wheel as their lady took her eyes off the road and careened towards central reservation.

Some other common complaints were flicking the accelerator, braking too hard, fiddling with the stereo… and in conclusion, not being a man.

The site released their top ten complaints men make about women’s driving.
