4-Year-Old Boy Gets Herpes after Putting a Used Condom in His Mouth from a Hotel Room
A 4-year-old boy has experienced blisters covering the inside of his mouth after he was caught with a used condom in his mouth when his family stayed in an Atlanta hotel room. Fears are also growing that this person who left the used condom might also have AIDs.
The Distraught grandmother Carmen Jones said she was staying in a Wyndham Garden Hotel located in downtown Atlanta in July when she noticed her grandson playing with a used condom in his mouth.
Carmen Jones stated to reporters:
“I ran out the bathroom and my grandson had a condom in his mouth. His tongue was in the condom and he was trying to blow it up. I immediately took it out of his mouth and he thought it was a balloon, that he was blowing up a balloon, It still had, what appeared to be semen in the condom. “
Jones told hotel management what happened and the confiscated the condom. Jones said “I want to take the condom and have it tested”
Jones said her grandson became ill and started to show signs of what looked like an STD : “Little white blisters all on the top of his mouth, on his tongue, inside the mouth, inside the lip the bottom lip, it was all over,” she said
She was informed by the doctor that if it is herpes it should clear up within 8-10 days and indeed it did. Now there is still the lurking fear of AIDs.
