Son Stomps Mother To Death For Missing Car Cushion
A few weeks ago Adam Raszynski became a media sensation as he made news headlines for allegedly stomping his mother Rita Redford to death over a missing car cushion.
As we delved deeper into the story it became more and more creepier. Initially, no one could make sense as to why Rita, 60 wound up dead at the bottom of the stairs in her home while her son Adam was rushed to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
It later became a bit more clear after a search warrant affidavit was revealed stating the newly released disturbing bits of info. As clearly stated on the document, Rita shot Adam several times, and Adam allegedly stomped her head. The document further describes how Adam placed a call sometime around 5 p.m. on February 25th to 911 explaining that he and his mother had been having a heated argument. At the point which Rita jumped on the phone to say that the cops had been to her house and Adam was a parolee.
It was only 5 minutes later that Adam called 911 yet again, and then another time just 6 minutes after the second call to reveal that he’d been shot by his mother, who was now dead. Wait...what?! Officers said moments after they arrived,
"Adam said his mother shot him and that he was dying," the affidavit maintains. "Adam said his mother was in front of the front door and that he thought she was dead."
As the affidavit states, this is how it happened,
"Adam told [a detective] that his mother came down the stairs shooting at him. He said he thought he was shot in the head and kidney."
What happened to Rita? Well Adam blatantly explained that he ‘stomped her head.’
Further more, the affidivate continues with the report on when Rita jumps on the phone saying her some was bipolar and schizophrenic. A statement that prompted her son to yell,
"She's lying, officer! No, I'm not!" He then said to Redford, "Mom, if I help you find the car cushion, could we stop this? The police have other things to do."
Adam now faces a second-degree murder charge.
